Imagine singing this:

Wake up early (oh yea)

Eat cornflakes (ahan)...wash your own dish

Sit in my bus and go to school.......go to sleep. Boo!

(Doesn't that sound awfully familiar?)

Anyway, why would anyone listen to that? Unless, of course, if the music is good (or sometimes they just make you laugh). Sometimes we just listen to a song all day, just because of the melody. That reminds me of something from Music and Lyrics:

Sophie Fisher: A melody is like seeing someone for the first time. The physical attraction.

Sophie Fisher: But then, as you get to know the person, that's the lyrics. Their story. Who they are underneath. It's the combination of the two that makes it magical. 

Sometimes we just ignore the lyrics, don't we? (And I'm not just talking about music here)

So I just jotted down a list of songs that are simply beautiful, as far as the lyrics are concerned, and a list of songs that...well...make you laugh (or freak you out). Enjoy!
